23-Cent Supplement Reverses Arthritis Damage
When you’re living with arthritis, you’re desperately looking for ANY way to ease the pain.
Plenty of products provide relief—at least for a little while.
But that’s the problem.
They’re just a temporary Band-Aid. In the meantime, the same things causing your pain and discomfort, to begin with, continue to attack and destroy your joints.
But imagine if you could ease your pain AND reverse the root cause of it at the same time?
Well, now research has revealed that you can do precisely that. And no prescription is required.
Cartilage is the cushion at the end of your bones. It acts as a shock absorber and prevents your bones from rubbing together.
Over time, cartilage can wear down or become torn. When that happens, the space between your bones narrows. This results in pain, stiffness, and a limited range of motion.
Eventually, bone can end up rubbing on bone, and you’re diagnosed with painful arthritis.
But there’s a natural solution.
Your body produces a compound called glucosamine. A molecule called glucosaminoglycan then uses that compound to create and repair cartilage.
There’s just one problem: The older you get, the less glucosamine your body produces.
That’s where supplements enter the picture. By filling in your body’s glucosamine gap, you’ll give it what it needs to build and repair cartilage.
A meta-analysis of 20 studies found that glucosamine supplements help reduce pain and improve function in people with osteoarthritis.
Plus, another study showed taking a combination of glucosamine and chondroitin (another cartilage building block) supplements significantly slowed cartilage loss in adults with knee osteoarthritis.
The longer they took the duo, the greater the benefits were.
Glucosamine is often combined with chondroitin because the compound gives cartilage elasticity and helps prevent its breakdown by certain enzymes. And all this for less than 25 cents a day.
Keep in mind that glucosamine can interact with certain drugs (like blood thinners). So be sure to talk to your doctor if you want to give it a try.
P.S. Most side effects are harmful. But it turns out glucosamine may be responsible for one you’re going to LOVE. Research linked the compound to an 18 percent lower risk for a common killer condition. Click here for all the details.
