3 VITAL Warning Signs from Your Body
Your body is always talking to you.
The question is, are you listening?
Too often, its warning signs are either ignored, dismissed as a normal part of aging, or addressed with prescription drugs.
Newsflash: NONE of these options will get to the root cause of what your body is telling you.
I could write an entire book on this subject. For now, I will tell you about three common warning signs your body could be giving you RIGHT NOW—and what you can do about them.
The first warning sign is blurry vision.
Most folks chalk vision issues up to aging. However, vision loss, trouble seeing in low light, and other eye issues could be signs you need more vitamin A.
Vitamin A plays a key role in corneal health and retina function. A vitamin A deficiency can ultimately lead to vision loss and night blindness, so don’t ignore this sign.
Foods that are rich in vitamin A include…
- liver,
- eggs,
- and dairy.
Also, beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A in the body, so eating bright orange, red, and yellow foods will also boost your A levels.
The second is dry, brittle hair.
No, dry winter air is not always to blame. And neither is aging. Dry hair—or even thinning hair—can also be a warning sign that you’re zinc deficient. Zinc makes hair follicles stronger and supports hair growth.
Without enough of it, your hair follicles will become weaker, and your hair will become dull and brittle.
To boost zinc, you can take a supplement or eat zinc-rich foods to boost zinc, including…
- oysters,
- red meat,
- chicken,
- and lentils.
The third warning sign is brain fog.
You may frequently have trouble remembering why you walked into the room, or find that focusing on a task is more difficult.
If you’ve noticed you’re not as sharp as you once were, don’t blame aging… it could be a vitamin B deficiency.
B vitamins produce energy in the brain, help repair DNA and RNA, produce neurochemicals, and much more.
Having adequate levels of B vitamins can help slow brain shrinkage and cognitive decline.
You can take a B-complex supplement to boost your Bs or eat foods that include the various Bs. Different foods contain different B vitamins, but eggs, milk, salmon, avocado, liver, and spinach are good places to start.
If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t just chalk them up to “getting older.” It could be warning signs and your body trying to tell you something.
Instead of dismissing these vital messages, take action to address their root causes.
P.S. Fight all TWELVE hallmarks of aging.
