Is This the CRAZIEST Cancer Idea Yet?
Let me tell you the problem with medical research today…
Just because it’s technically possible to do something doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
And too many scientists don’t understand that.
Case in point? European researchers are now pushing a crazy plan that they say will allow earlier detection of bladder cancers.
Will it work? Technically… it probably will.
But this idea comes with serious – and potentially life-threatening – risks for seniors.
And if it’s ever pushed on you, there’s one thing you need to do right away.
RUN.
A new study is claiming that taking aspirin may help doctors detect bladder cancer sooner.
I swear, there’s nothing they won’t try to push aspirin for.
But the reason why it works is like something out of a horror movie.
You see, blood in your urine is a common early sign of bladder cancer. And aspirin is a blood thinner and prevents clotting.
So, the theory is that aspirin will make you bleed more… you’ll see more blood in your urine… and you’ll go get checked out.
That’s right, friends. The plan to catch more bladder cancers is to facilitate more internal bleeding in seniors.
That’s terrifying enough… but here’s something these researchers don’t seem to be paying any attention to.
Your bladder isn’t the only place aspirin can make you bleed.
We’ve known for decades that aspirin can increase your risk of brain bleeding. Here’s a direct quote from yet another study… published just three years ago… that involved more than 19,000 people.
“This study found a significant increase in intracranial bleeding with daily low-dose aspirin.”
So we’re talking about increasing your risk of a potentially serious brain bleed… as a strategy for detecting cancer earlier?
Make it make sense…
You don’t need to start popping aspirin to stay on top of your bladder cancer risk. In addition to blood in the urine, look for other changes like frequent urination or pain while going.
If you notice any persistent changes, ask your doctor for a urine test.
It’s a simple strategy, but it works. And you don’t have to increase your chances of internal bleeding in the bargain.
