[Warning] This Vitamin Deficiency Could Be DEADLY
Your mom probably told you this a thousand times… and I know mine did.
If you want to live a long, healthy life, you need to load up on your vitamins.
But don’t just pop that daily multi-vitamin and think you’re out of the woods.
Because there’s one vitamin deficiency you don’t want to get under ANY circumstances.
In fact, being low in this vitamin could make you a sitting suck for broken bones… heart problems… ad even CANCER.
Here’s what you need to do to stay safe.
Three recent studies have shown that levels of vitamin D are intimately involved in cancer, heart disease, and bone health.
The first study was published in the British Medical Journal. It showed that people who have the highest levels of vitamin D tend to have the lowest risk of cancer.
What makes this study especially noteworthy is that was the largest study on vitamin D and cancer every undertaken…involving over 30,000 people followed for 16 years.
The second study found that supplementing with vitamin D can help improve cardiac function in heart failure patients.
For this study, published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, 223 patients with heart failure took either vitamin D or a placebo for a year.
This study showed that vitamin D supplementation was able to not only restore healthy vitamin D levels, but it improved ventricular ejection fraction, an important measure that determines how well your heart is pumping blood.
In other words, vitamin D helped the heart function better.
Since patients with chronic heart failure often have low vitamin D levels, improving levels represents an inexpensive, effective way to improve the overall health of people with chronic heart failure.
Finally, the third recent study showed the importance of vitamin D not just in adults, but in children. This study found that kids who are deficient in vitamin D are much more likely to suffer from severe factures.
This makes sense, since vitamin D is well known for its importance in maintaining healthy bones. The saddest part of this study was that it found that vitamin D insufficiency is common in children.
Vitamin D…the sunshine vitamin! There is no excuse for ANY child (or adult) to be low in this nutrient.
With the nicer weather coming, we should all be spending as much time outside in the sun as possible. That will help keep your body stocked with all the vitamin D it needs.
To a brighter day,
