[Warning] Summertime Staple CAUSING Cancer?!
Summer is almost here, and with it comes millions of people headed outside.
They’re having cookouts, getting in the pool… enjoying some much-needed time outdoors.
But there’s one summertime staple that is a danger to your health.
In fact, research shows that it contains chemicals that could put you on the path to cancer.
Here’s what you need to know.
Of all the myths foisted on the public in the name of protecting your health, the benefits of sunscreen are at the top of the list.
You’ve seen the ads on TV, the bottles stacked in the aisles of your local drug stores and supermarkets, and the hordes of people slathering themselves with the stuff at the pool or beach.
Why?
Because they think sunscreen will protect them from the dangers of the big, bad sun — and especially from the risk of melanoma.
Sunscreen manufacturers (not to mention the medical community at large) have convinced the general population that the sun is bad for you, and that sunscreen is good for you.
It’s not just wrong… it’s a big, fat lie.
TRUTH:
A recent independent study found that more than a quarter of all sunscreens contained a carcinogen called benzene at levels up to THREE TIMES HIGHER than allowed by the FDA.
Fourteen batches of sunscreen contained between 2.78 and 6.26 parts per million (ppm) — which is FAR above the 2 ppm allowed by the FDA.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, benzene is knowns to cause cancer in humans.
TRUTH:
A report published by the FDA itself revealed that the chemicals in sunscreen get absorbed into your skin, and that the amounts found in the bloodstream were 40 TIMES HIGHER than the amount considered to be safe.
This includes toxins like avobenzone, oxybenzone, octocrylene, and ecamsule — which have been found to cause hormone disruption, cellular damage, and mutations, and to increase hormone-related cancer.
TRUTH:
Avobenzone is one of the chemicals that block out UV rays. However, the problem is that when it’s exposed to the sun and chlorine, it gets broken down into chemicals that are extremely toxic.
Yes, you read that right. Swimming outside in a pool on a summer day is the key to unlocking the most harmful chemical elements in a bottle of sunscreen.
Once that happens, avobenzone breaks down RIGHT ON YOUR SKIN into chemicals called phenols and acetyl benzenes – both of which are extremely toxic and have been linked to deadly tumors and infertility.
DESPITE these findings, none of these products are getting recalled.
Don’t sit around and wait for the government to do what’s best for you.
Ditch the sunscreen (and all the toxic crap found in them) and soak up plenty of health-giving sunlight instead.
