[ALERT] Is THIS Common Condition KILLING You?!
You already know that certain health conditions increase your risk of dying. And heart disease and diabetes being right up there at the top of the list.
But there are other health problems that you’d NEVER guess could put you in an early grave.
One, in particular, affects 32 million adults in the US alone.
Fortunately, there’s one simple step you can take to reduce that risk.
A study published in Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases Open included over 10,000 people 50 years and older.
The researchers followed these individuals for ten years to see if the people with osteoarthritis had a higher risk of dying than those without the condition.
It turned out that people with osteoarthritis had a HIGHER risk of dying from any cause at all.
Even after considering factors like cardiovascular disease, obesity, and economic status, folks with osteoarthritis still had an 11 percent increased risk of premature death.
Osteoarthritis isn’t curable.
So if you’re one of the 32 million people already suffering from the condition, this news might sound pretty scary.
But there was a second part of this study…
The researchers found that people who engaged in one simple activity reduced their risk of premature death.
I’m talking about walking!
In fact, the people who walked regularly had a reduced their risk of premature death whether they had osteoarthritis or not.
The take-home message here is clear.
More time moving—and less time on your couch—is one of the simplest, best things you can do for your health.
And it can even help you live longer.
