[Alert] This Painkiller is DESTROYING Your Heart
What would you do to get relief from your pain?
You might joke that you’d give up your left kidney.
But giving up your heart? That’s just too far.
Well, if you’re taking one popular painkiller, you’re probably doing exactly that.
Because according to a recent study, it increases your odds of developing a deadly heart condition.
And it’s probably in your medicine cabinet right now.
Aortic stenosis is a stiffening of the valve between the aorta and the left ventricle of the heart. It’s dangerous because it hinders blood flow throughout your body.
There aren’t any drugs that can effectively help the condition, and the only way to treat it is to replace the heart valve altogether. And that carries its own risks.
In an attempt to fill this gap, researchers tested a common NSAID taken by arthritis sufferers called Celebrex
They chose this particular drug because it has certain actions that would suggest it could be a potential treatment for aortic stenosis.
But the researchers were in for a shock.
Because not only did celecoxib NOT help the condition… it was found to CAUSE the condition to develop.
That’s right… taking Celebrex to relieve pain can lead to a deadly heart condition.
Aortic stenosis is typically caused by calcium buildupor calcification. When the researchers treated aortic heart valve cells with celecoxib, it increased the calcification of the cells.
Clinical evidence confirmed these lab results.
When the researchers looked at the medical records of nearly 9,000 people, they saw that people who took Celebrex had 20% increased odds of developing aortic stenosis.
Interestingly, two other NSAIDs, ibuprofen and naproxen, did NOT increase the risk.
At the end of the day, all NSAIDs carry risks – whether aortic stenosis is on the list or not.
That’s why I always recommend skipping the drugs and opting for a safer, natural solution instead. Turmeric, CBD oil, and ginger are a few that immediately come to mind.
