Breakthrough Technique RESTORES Memory Loss (5 Days)
By the time you reach a certain age, you expect to experience a few “senior moments.”
You know the ones… like forgetting that doctor’s appointment or not remembering what you ate for dinner last night.
Once you start that downhill slope, you might think there’s no turning back.
But I’ve got great news.
A new cutting-edge technique has been found to RESTORE age-related memory loss… in less than 5 days.
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is characterized by typical “senior moments” of forgetfulness, but it isn’t a concern in and of itself.
The problem is that people with MCI are much more likely to develop full-blown Alzheimer’s.
But while there’s no coming back from an Alzheimer’s diagnosis (yet), it turns out you CAN reverse mild cognitive impairment.
It’s with a technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
During this non-invasive technique, researchers apply magnetic fields to specific areas of the brain, which impacts the central nervous system.
For this study, published in the journal Neurology, researchers applied the TMS to the individuals’ hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for learning and memory.
(Incidentally, the hippocampus tends to shrink with age and is associated with age-related memory loss.)
Before and after the brain stimulation, the participants took standard memory tests. Then they used the TMS 5 days in a row for 20 minutes a day.
Remarkably, the seniors scored BETTER on the test of memory after just 5 DAYS of treatment. And in fact, their scores were practically identical to that of someone half their age!
This study is important because it is the first one to show that brain dysfunction in older adults can be REVERSED using brain stimulation.
TMS is already used in the medical field as a treatment for depression, but using it to restore brain function would dramatically expand its benefit.
If you’ve been struggling with mild cognitive impairment, show your doctor this study and talk to him about seeing if this non-invasive technique could work for you.
