Cancer Pain? There’s a SAFER Solution
The fact that marijuana eases various forms of pain is nothing new.
Just ask the folks who had to resort to using it illegally because the government banned one of the few treatments that could make a noticeable improvement in their chronic pain and quality of life.
What IS new is the boatloads of research finally starting to PROVE this benefit now that medical marijuana is legal in most states.
In fact, a recent study showed just how effective it can be at tackling cancer pain.
And it was a real eye- opener.
The tide is FINALLY starting to turn on medical marijuana—and I couldn’t be happier.
It never made any sense to me that the government outlawed a safe, natural, effective treatment for pain.
But now that medical marijuana is legal in most states, there’s an avalanche of research confirming its benefits. And the latest reveals how helpful it is for cancer patients.
Researchers tracked 358 cancer patients for up to one year. The volunteers had various types of cancer, including genital, urinary, breast, and colon.
The most frequent symptom requiring a prescription for medical marijuana was pain, which occurred in 72 percent of cases.
At the nine-month mark, patients who used marijuana as a pain treatment reported a 35 percent decrease in their worst pain levels and a 43 percent reduction in how much cancer pain impacted their daily lives.
At the one-year mark, marijuana users reported a 33 percent decrease in average pain and a 32 percent drop in pain severity.
And incredibly, opioid use plummeted 31 percent after six months, confirming that marijuana effectively slashes pain.
Overall, the researchers found that marijuana products that balance levels of THC (the chemical in cannabis that causes intoxication) and CBD, showed the greatest reduction in pain measures.
Plus, there’s FAR less chance of becoming dependent. Because, unlike opioids, THC isn’t highly addictive.
I couldn’t be more thrilled at the results of this study.
And it’s about time.
The LAST thing a cancer patient needs is to be given a drug that they could become addicted to, which will cause them to suffer withdrawal symptoms when they stop taking it.
But this study showed that medical marijuana is a safe, natural solution that can effectively ease cancer patients’ WORST pain—while reducing their need for opioids.
That’s what I call effective medical care.

Ladies, getting screened for breast cancer is vital. I want that to be clear. Breast cancer is currently the second leading cause of cancer death in women. An estimated 12.9 percent of U.S. women will develop this disease in their lifetime, and about 42,000 women still die each year from it. Identifying and treating breast cancer...
In its early stages, glaucoma is often a silent disease with no clear signs of its presence.
