Don’t Fall for THIS Deadly Heart Advice
For years the mainstream has been pushing aspirin on anyone who’s had heart trouble.
And they’ve been successful. Nearly 41 million people have been duped into taking an aspirin a day to prevent heart disease.
Yes, DUPED.
Because mountains of research shows that aspirin does practically NOTHING to protect your heart… and whole lot to ruin your health.
Now we know taking aspirin could actually kill you… especially if you’re over 70.
Millions of people take aspirin to prevent having a heart attack or stroke.
But if you don’t have any history of heart disease — and over the age of 70 — you could be doing far more harm than good.
In a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, 19,000 adults over 70 years old were given either an aspirin or a placebo daily for five years.
There were two primary results, and neither one of them good.
First, there was no difference between the two groups in the rates of death or disability.
In other words, the aspirin had ZERO benefit when it comes to helping you live longer.
Even worse? The aspirin group had a higher incidence of having a dangerous or even deadly hemorrhage.
Where I come from, we call that a lose-lose situation.
There is some evidence that aspirin can be beneficial for people with existing heart disease. And if I was having a heart attack, I’d probably take one myself.
But for people without heart disease, this study shows yet again that taking aspirin for primary prevention is just a bad idea.
Aspirin is already known for increasing the risk of bleeding in the gut.
In fact, one study shows that taking aspirin doesn’t just increase your risk of HAVING a bleed, but of that bleed being DEADLY.
There’s really no upside to taking aspirin for primary heart disease prevention.
If you want to lower your risk of heart disease, try one of these safe, tried-and-true methods:
- Eat a natural, nutrient-dense diet with superfoods and raw foods
- Use your body for physical work on a daily basis
- And consider taking a natural supplement like CoQ10. It’s great for giving your aging heart an energy boost (I even take it myself).
To a brighter day,
