SHED Pounds with This “Fatty” Health Food!
You know the old adage… an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Well, there’s another health food that you should be eating every day.
Some mainstream docs might advise against it and claim it’s too high in fat.
But it turns out this high-fat health food can actually help you lose weight—and boost your gut health, too!
If you’re not eating avocados regularly, you’re really missing out—both on taste and health benefits.
Some people might tell you to “go easy” on the avocados because they’re so high in fat.
But not all fat is created equal. And the fat found in avocados is called monounsaturated fat… a GOOD fat that can actually help LOWER your cholesterol.
Avocadoes are loaded with nutrients that have been shown to aid in digestion, blood pressure, vision, heart health, and more.
Studies have even shown that eating avocados can help curb your appetite and help with weight loss.
So much for the mantra that “eating fat makes you fat”!
Even more recently, a study published in the Journal of Nutrition, has shown that eating avocados can boost your gut health.
For the study 163 people were divided into two groups: one that ate an avocado a day, and one that didn’t. Otherwise, both groups ate similar foods.
After 12 weeks, the avocado group had a greater abundance of healthy microbes in their stomach and digestive tract (compared to the non-avocado group).
This is a BIG deal for your overall health, since a diverse microbiome full of beneficial bacteria is the foundation of good health.
If you’ve been avoiding avocados because of their fat content… don’t!
Put them on salads, blend them in smoothies, enjoy some delicious guacamole.
Here it is: I’m giving you full permission to eat as many avocados as you want.
Your health—and your waistline—will benefit.
P.S. How would you like it if I told you that you could STOP exercise and still lose weight. You just have to do this instead.
