“Grandma’s Cure” DESTROYS Cancer
Scientists can spend all the time they want in a lab (under artificial light) trying to concoct a cure for cancer.
But nothing they come up with could possibly compare what nature has already provided for thousands of years.
The trick is finding those treasures… and figuring out the best way to use them.
Case in point: Scientists have identified a powerful cancer-suppressing compound in a source that grandma has been promoting all along.
Here’s what you need to know.
“Eat your broccoli.”
Those three little words are the bane of children all over the world.
But mothers and grandmothers who are fighting the “broccoli battle” should keep fighting the good fight… because scientists have found that a key compound in broccoli can absolutely destroy cancer cells.
You see, cruciferous vegetables – which include broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, and more – contain a compound called I3C.
Numerous studies over the years have shown that I3C has potent anti-cancer properties, but no one knew exactly how it worked its magic.
Now, a study published in the journal Science has shed some light on the subject.
Your body has a cancer-suppressing gene called PTEN. It essentially helps keep cells from growing out of control and forming a tumor.
In fact, the author of this study called PTEN “one of the most important tumor suppressors in the history of cancer genetics.”
The problem is that cancer cells actually produce an enzyme called WWP1 that interferes with the function of PTEN.
Unfortunately, cancer cells have a strong will to live, and WWP1 essentially takes out this threat to their existence.
But that’s where broccoli – and its key compound I3C – comes in.
I3C actually takes out the harmful WWP1 enzyme, fully restoring PTEN to resume its tumor-suppressing actions.
In other words, this compound helps the body naturally fight cancer on its own.
But there’s a catch.
You’d have to eat six pounds of broccoli per day to accomplish the effects of I3C in the lab.
I like broccoli… but even I have to draw the line somewhere.
Fortunately, scientists have isolated the I3C compound and you can take it in supplement form (available on Amazon.com).
And in the meantime, keep eating those cruciferous vegetables. I believe that when it comes to disease prevention, it’s the combined effect of all the good habits you implement that make the biggest impact on your overall health and wellbeing.
