“Health Drink” Boosts Cancer RISK 92%!
It’s one of the most popular drinks in the world.
And every time you turn around, there’s a “nutrition expert” telling you it can help you lose weight, protect your bones, and could even reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.
But there’s something they’re not telling you….
Because a shocking study has shown that the same health tonic can increase your risk of cancer by 92%.
Find out how to get the benefits… without the risk.
The health drink I’m talking about is tea.
The tea itself is great for you. The problem comes in how it’s served.
Researchers studied over 50,000 people between 40 and 75 for about 10 years. They not only looked at how much they drank…but at what temperature.
It turns out that people who drank two cups of tea per day served hot – really hot – had a 90% higher risk of esophageal cancer than those who drank their tea at cooler temperatures.
Just how hot is really hot? 140 degrees.
Here in the US, it’s rare to consume drinks that hot… but it’s standard practice in places like Russia, Iran, Turkey, and South America.
This study looked at hot tea specifically, but any beverage consumed at those excessive temperatures would likely produce the same result.
The problem is in the damage it causes to the esophagus. Think of what happens when you scald your mouth – or your skin, for that matter. Consuming piping hot beverages can cause that kind of damage to the esophagus over time.
And any chronic irritation to any body part can lead to cancer. A perfect example would be how smoking can lead to lung cancer.
The scalding hot liquid causes chronic irritation to the esophagus, which can ultimately lead to cancer.
The moral of the story: Keep drinking your tea… just make sure it’s not too hot.
