Is THIS Sending Your Blood Sugar Haywire?
Trying to get your blood sugar in line can be a lot like playing whack-a-mole…
Just when it looks like things are heading in the right direction… it pops back up again.
And it doesn’t make sense, right?
You’re trying to be smart about your eating – and you’re taking all of your meds.
Well, there could be another trigger that’s raising your blood sugar and making it much harder to control.
Mainstream medicine doesn’t like to talk about it – but it could be coming from your own house.
I’ve been warning about electromagnetic fields – the radiation we can get from everything from cell phones to our televisions – for years.
Mainstream medicine likes to dismiss the health effects of EMFs, which are bombarding us every day.
But, trust me – I have more science on my side than they do. And research has painted a pretty alarming picture of how EMF exposure can affect blood sugar control.
Back in 2015, Middle Eastern researchers looked at groups of students who were going to school near cell phone towers. They found that the kids who had the most exposure to EMFs had consistently higher blood sugar and were more likely to develop diabetes.
Now, you don’t have to live next door to a cell phone tower for EMFs to send you blood sugar haywire (although those towers seem to be everywhere these days).
Even electronical devices you use daily can have a harmful effect on blood sugar.
Researchers found that mice exposed to more than 15 minutes a day of cell phone radiation had significantly higher blood glucose and insulin levels.
That’s after just 15 minutes! Think how much time we all spend on our cell phones every day.
And the journal Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine actually published a case study of a woman whose blood sugar spiked when she was exposed to EMFs from her home treadmill.
Imagine that – she’s trying to exercise to improve her health, and she’s being sabotaged by her own exercise equipment.
It can be hard to avoid EMFs completely… they’re all around us. But your home should be your sanctuary – the one place where you can really control your exposure.
Here are some tips I use myself:
- Carry your phone in an EMF-blocking pouch (they’re easy to find online) and keep your phone off or in airplane mode when you’re not using it.
- Unplug electronic devices when you’re not using them, especially at night.
- Use a hard-wired Internet connection instead of WiFi.
- Consider hiring a Building Biology Environmental Consultant to assess EMFs and other risks in your home. You can find one near you at https://buildingbiologyinstitute.org/
