LIVE LONGER with this Hole-in-One Secret!
We’ve been searching for the elusive Fountain of Youth for centuries.
And without fail, it’s never been found.
But that’s a good thing. You don’t need to drink mythical water to help you live longer.
Because a recent study of seniors found that playing a particular game can EXTEND YOUR LIFE.
And you’ll be shocked by what it is.
Want to live longer?
Start playing golf!
A recent study looked at 5,900 people with an average age of 72 to see if there was a difference between golfers and non-golfers in the rates of heart attack or death.
Both golfers and non-golfers had the same rate of heart attacks/ But those who golfed had a lower risk of dying.
That’s right, folks, golfing can help you live longer.
Of course, a study like this one just looks at the connection between the two—it doesn’t evaluate how or why.
But I have a few ideas.
One is the exercise involved. Even if you ride in a cart from hole to hole, you’re still getting in and out of the cart, walking to your ball, stooping to pick up your ball, and twisting your body when you swing.
Golfing might not be as aerobically intense as something like basketball or tennis, but it’s a great way to keep people—especially seniors—moving.
And it’s a heck of a lot better than sitting on your couch.
Another reason could be that it can help you relieve stress.
But there’s another key reason that golf has such a major impact on how long you live…
It’s played outside in the sun!
The average round of 18 holes of golf takes about four hours. That’s four hours spent soaking in all the benefits those UV rays have to offer.
No matter what sunscreen manufacturers tell you, studies consistently show that people who spend the most time in the sun live the longest.
Next time your wife gives you a hard time about playing a round of golf, tell her you’re doing it for your health.
Better yet—invite her to go with you.
