Hospital Experiments With Natural Coronavirus Treatment
The search is on for a treatment for COVID-19.
One of the most talked about is the use of hydroxychloroquine, a drug used to treat malaria, lupus, and arthritis.
The reports on the benefits of hydroxychloroquine have been mixed – and there’s been a lot of pushback to using drugs like these.
Personally, I’m open to any treatment that works.
That’s why I was so interested to read about one doctor who has taken a more natural approach—and the early results seem very promising.
Let me start by saying there is no known cure COVID-19. But if I were ever diagnosed with coronavirus, I’d want this treatment right away.
I’m talking about intravenous vitamin C.
There’s a doctor in New York (Dr. Andrew Weber) who has been giving his coronavirus patients a vitamin C protocol as soon as they enter the hospital.
The vitamin C protocol involves taking 1,500 mg of vitamin C, 3-4 times a day.
Again, that’s intravenously… not orally.
According to Dr. Weber, people who receive intravenous vitamin C respond significantly better than those who don’t.
I’m not at all surprised by these results.
It’s not because vitamin C cures you… it’s because vitamin C supports your body’s natural immune function.
It helps neutralize harmful free radicals.
It boosts key enzymes that help create hormones that help control how your cardiovascular system responds to infections.
It bolsters fatty membranes in connective tissues, which can help protect your lungs from pathogens.
In other words… vitamin C boosts your immune system while protecting your body from damage. That’s why it’s long been used to help with a variety of other illnesses.
So have studies shown that intravenous vitamin C cures coronavirus?
No.
But it could be a useful piece of the puzzle. And it’s one that I would want in my arsenal.
