NATURAL Solution for Devastating IBD
Inflammatory bowel diseases, like Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis, don’t just impact your gut… they impact your ENTIRE life.
And so can the drugs used to treat them.
These often include powerful drugs like immunomodulators, corticosteroids, and even chemotherapy.
And, in some severe cases, you could require surgery to remove part of your gastrointestinal tract.
Fortunately, there’s one natural treatment that could not only improve your quality of life… but send the condition into remission in the process.
A recent study found that most folks suffering from IBD have a common deficiency. Almost one-third of IBD patients were deficient in vitamin D, while 66 percent had insufficient levels.
The lower the vitamin D, the higher the inflammation. And, of course, inflammation plays a major role in inflammatory bowel diseases.
This kind of study shows association, not cause and effect. It also didn’t look into whether increasing vitamin levels could help treat the condition.
But OTHER studies HAVE.
One showed that in people with ulcerative colitis who are vitamin D deficient, taking 2,000 IUs of D daily reduced disease activity and improved quality of life.
Higher vitamin D levels are also linked to higher remission rates.
These benefits could be triggered by vitamin D reducing inflammatory immune responses, improving gut microbiota, and improving intestinal barrier function.
However, I wouldn’t recommend loading up on vitamin D willy-nilly.
Nutrient absorption tends to be impaired in patients with IBD. So, be sure to work with a health professional to identify how much you need to take to obtain adequate levels.
P.S. “Crystal Ball” nutrients predict IBD severity.
