Stress Silently Causing DEADLY Damage
The message is FINALLY sinking in.
Stress is bad for your health.
It impacts your mood, messes with your energy levels, and can even harm your cognitive function.
But it turns out chronic stress does FAR more damage than meets the eye.
And there’s one hidden harm it causes that can literally KILL you…
Stress could be silently harming your heart, sending your risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke soaring.
Two recent studies revealed that stress…
- accelerates the development of major cardiovascular risk factors like high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
- is also associated with the development of heart disease
In the first study, researchers analyzed data on more than 71,000 adults over 10 years.
Folks with stress-linked depression and anxiety had a 35 percent increased risk of heart attack, stroke, or another significant health event.
In the second study, researchers followed 2,700 adults with heart disease for about 12 years. Based on their answers to a questionnaire, the researchers also gave them cumulative stress scores.
Elevated stress scores were significantly associated with the development of heart disease. This was the case even after accounting for risk factors, like blood pressure and smoking.
Stress was also associated with a 22 percent increased risk of plaque in the arteries and a 20 percent increased risk of heart disease.
There are PLENTY of reasons for this connection.
For starters, stress can cause you to make poor choices that increase your risk of heart problems.
In addition, it releases hormones that impact blood sugar levels, inflammation, and more.
Don’t brush off chronic stress as a minor issue.
It may be common, but it’s NOT minor.
By addressing your stress, you’ll protect your heart, mind, mood, relationships… and everything in between.
P.S. ANCIENT solution beats MODERN stress.
