The 200-Year-Old CURE for Seizures
You never have to wonder whose interests the pharmaceutical companies have in mind.
It’s never yours.
Part of their tactic for lining their pockets is to discredit natural cures, but this time they’re taking a different approach.
In a recent study, researchers clearly acknowledge a natural treatment for seizures – but then tell you why you should take their new synthetic drug instead.
If you ask me, it’s just more proof of how good this natural cure really is.
CBD has been making a lot of headlines lately.
With more and more states legalizing the use of medical marijuana, more and more studies are coming to light showing its benefits.
But CBD’s benefits are nothing new. And one of the oldest uses on the record books is for treating seizures.
People have been using cannabis for hundreds of years to treat seizures, and about 20 years ago, researchers discovered how cannabis compounds impact nerve cells in the brain.
Even the FDA has approved CBD (the non-psychoactive component of marijuana) for treating certain seizures conditions.
But now, researchers have developed a synthetic version of CBD (called H2CBD), and they’re claiming that their fake version works “just as well as” the real thing when it comes to treating rats with chemically induced seizures.
In addition, they try to discredit natural CBD by claiming it has no potential for abuse (neither does CBD… like I said, it’s the non-psychoactive component of marijuana), that it’s a controlled substance (no mention of the fact that it’s nearly 100% legal in the US), and that it has to be cultivated (sounds like more jobs to me).
At the end of the day, they’re grasping at straws for reasons to use their patentable (re: more expensive) fake CBD.
Why feed into their system when the real thing has been working great for hundreds of years?
Your guess is as good as mine.
