This Joint-Pain Destroyer BEAT Steroids
When you’re dealing with joint pain, you’ll do anything for relief.
So when the pain pills let you down… and a doctor suggests a steroid injection… it can feel like the right call.
But before you get that shot, there’s something you should know…
There’s another type of joint pain treatment I’ve used for years with countless patients… with amazing results.
In a new study, it just ran circles around steroids for pain relief.
Patients are almost never told about it – but I’ll show you exactly how to get it for yourself.
Now, don’t get me wrong… steroid injections work great for some people.
But they’re not without risks.
They can actually weaken tendons and accelerate the thinning of your cartilage. So you may be trading some relief now for some major problems down the road.
That’s what makes prolotherapy different…
Prolotherapy is a treatment where a doctor injects a solution (often sugar water) into an injured area to trigger the body’s natural healing response. The goal is to strengthen and repair damaged ligaments, tendons, or joints by encouraging new tissue growth.
In a recent study out of India, 70 patients with chronic elbow pain were given either methylprednisolone (steroid) injections or prolotherapy, and followed for three months.
Well, after just three months, the prolotherapy group fared significantly better in terms of pain relief and elbow function.
Prolotherapy literally ran circles around steroids. And I’m not surprised – I’ve seen the results it has delivered with my own patients.
Now, here’s the problem… most doctors don’t offer prolotherapy, so you’ll probably never be told about it in a mainstream doctor’s office.
So you’ll have to dig around a little to find a provider.
A great place to start is The American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine website at www.prolotherapycollege.org. Just click the “Physicians” tab to find a doc near you.
