“Super Veggie” PROTECTS Your Heart!

Heart disease remains the number one killer in America…. despite the warnings, despite the prescription drugs, despite modern medicine’s latest technology.

But lowering your heart risk is surprisingly simple.

In fact, eating just a half cup of a particular “super veggie” can help lower your risk of high blood pressure AND reduce your risk of heart disease.

The best part? No drugs are necessary.

You already know that vegetables are good for you.

But did you know that eating them on a regular basis can actually lower your risk of heart disease?

Researchers analyzed 23 years of data on more than 56,000 people and found that people who had the highest intake of nitrate-rich vegetables had a lower systolic blood pressure (compared to those with the lowest intake).

Nitrate-rich vegetables include green leafy veggies like spinach, arugula, and lettuce, as well as radishes, fennel, and beets.

And they found that the higher the intake, the greater the drop in blood pressure.

In addition, there was a 15 percent reduction in hospital admissions for cardiovascular disease, and a 26 percent reduction in hospitalizations for peripheral artery disease.

(This is a heart condition in which blood vessels in the legs become narrow.)

The veggie-eaters also had a lower risk of heart attacks, stroke, and heart failure.

How much do you have to eat to get these benefits? Not as much as you might think!

Just one cup of raw vegetables, or ½ cup of cooked vegetables per day was all it took for these long-term heart health benefits.

As the saying goes: Let food be thy medicine.
