Glaucoma is a major cause of blindness.

It begins as a gradual loss of your peripheral vision.

However, as damage to the optic nerve progresses, vision gradually narrows until it leads to complete vision loss.

But it doesn’t have to.

This remarkable nutrient combo can slow—or completely STOP—the vision-robbing damage to your optic nerve.

When fluid builds up within the eye, it damages the optic nerve, which transmits visual information from the eye to the brain.

For the study, researchers gave vitamin B6, B9, and B12 to mice and rats with glaucoma.

In those with a more aggressive form of glaucoma, the B vitamins significantly slowed the damage to the optic nerve.

But the B vitamins stopped the damage in those with a less-aggressive form of the eye condition.

This wasn’t “just” a mouse study. Earlier studies have also found that vitamins B6, B9, and B12 can slow glaucoma progression.

In other words, it‘s more concrete evidence that B vitamins play a critical role in protecting eye health.

These vitamins also lower homocysteine. So, it’s no coincidence that high homocysteine levels are associated with an increased risk of eye problems.

B-vitamins are good nutrients for everyone to consider loading up on. But if you’ve been diagnosed with glaucoma, you can’t afford NOT to.
