“Essential” Oil Turns BACK the Clock?
Confused about “essential nutrients”? You’re in good company. Many folks are.
At their most basic, “essential nutrients” are simply nutrients your body doesn’t make on its own but REQUIRES to function. In other words, you have to get them through your diet.
The six essential nutrients are protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, minerals, and water.
If you’ve noticed symptoms like brain fog, joint stiffness, fatigue, dry skin, or low mood, you may suffer from a deficiency in one of these essentials.
And to be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised. Because up to 98 percent of people aren’t getting enough of this critical nutrient in their diet.
Fortunately, there’s an easy (tasty) fix.
If you don’t eat fish regularly, chances are you’re not getting enough omega-3s. And that’s a BIG problem.
Following are four of MANY reasons why you don’t want to miss out on this essential nutrient.
Omega-3s reduce inflammation. They’re proven to decrease harmful substances released during inflammatory responses.
As a potent anti-inflammatory, omega-3 can help with pain, sleep problems, heart health, cancer prevention… the list goes on.
They support a strong immune system. Because the fats in omega-3s make up the outer layer that surrounds each cell, they’re a vital signaler of your immune response.
They’re also great for skin health. Omega-3s help produce sebum, a critical barrier on your skin that keeps irritants out while hydrating and moistening your skin. These healthy fats help make ceramides, which help prevent moisture loss in the skin.
They also help reduce sunburn and protect against potential damage from UV rays.
They boost brain function. Omega-3s support proper blood flow to your brain. This is associated with better cognitive function, memory improvements, and a reduced risk of dementia.
Because your body doesn’t make its own omega-3s, you must include them in your diet to ensure you’re getting enough.
Two key omega-3s—EPA and DHA—are found in oily fish like sardines, salmon, and mackerel.
P.S. Eating foods that contain omega-3s, like fatty fish—reduces morning stiffness, joint stiffness, and pain. Pair it with THIS other superfood for a can’t-beat pain-relieving tag team.
