[COVID-19] The ONE Vitamin You NEED More Of!
Over the past few months, I’ve told you about numerous ways to stay safe in the COVID-19 era.
Most of them are common-sense cures that involve bolstering your immune system and your body’s built-in virus-fighters.

It’s a simple vitamin that could reduce the severity of COVID-19 in those infected… and possibly even reduce the risk of dying from it.
Studies keep popping up on vitamin D and COVID-19.
So far, most of the research has shown the problems with being deficient in D: It increases your risk of catching COVID-19, of having more severe symptoms, and of dying from it.
But a recent study has found a different connection:
How supplementing with vitamin D can dramatically reduce the severity of COVID-19 in those who are already sick.
Seventy-six patients were admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and were given the standard treatment protocols. But 50 of those patients were also given calcifediol, a metabolized form of vitamin D that quickly increases blood levels.
The results were impressive.
The patients receiving calcifediol were much less likely to need intensive care—and NONE of them died.
Compare that to the 26 patients NOT receiving calcifediol… where HALF were admitted to the ICU and two of them died.
Clearly, quickly increasing the body’s supply of vitamin D had a major impact on the severity of the illness—and could possibly have been life-saving for the two individuals not receiving the treatment.
The following was the dose used for the study:
.532 mg on day 1
.266 mg on days 2-6
This study shows just how potent vitamin D could be in treating COVID-19, while other studies have shown its importance in preventing it.
Either way, vitamin D is emerging as a powerful weapon against COVID-19.
