“Secret Move” SLASHES Breast Cancer Risk
The medical community pushes screening tests as a first line of defense against breast cancer.
But even with a successful screening, you’re dealing with early detection.
Wouldn’t it be better not to get cancer in the first place?
Recently, the most extensive study of its kind identified a STRAIGHTFORWARD way for women to slash breast cancer risk before menopause.
This HUGE study followed more than 500,000 premenopausal women for an average of 11.5 years.
They found that the most physically active ladies had a healthy 10 percent reduced risk of developing breast cancer.
While no specific duration or type of exercise led to this risk reduction, the general finding was that the more time spent doing some form of moderate or vigorous activity, the greater the risk reduction.
Exercise lowers estrogen, testosterone, insulin, and growth hormone levels. Plus, it slashes inflammation levels. ALL of which are associated with the growth and development of breast cancer.
Lowering cancer diagnoses is especially critical for younger women since breast cancers in this age group tend to be more aggressive. So be sure to share this information with all the younger ladies in your life, too.
You don’t have to join a gym to get moving. Find something that gets your heart rate up but that you enjoy doing, like walking your dog or taking a dance class.
That way, you’ll be more likely to keep it up for the long haul.
This study specifically looked at the benefits of exercise in premenopausal women—but plenty of other studies have demonstrated that it can lower your risk of breast cancer at any age.
Like this study, for example, showed that regular exercise can reduce your risk of at least seven cancers including breast cancer.
P.S. 7 OFTEN overlooked breast cancer signs.
