“Power of 3” Plan REVERSES Aging!?
I don’t want to live forever.
But I do want to live a long, healthy life to enjoy my growing family (I’m a new grandpa!) and get the most out of the years God has given me on this earth.
I plan for that mostly by making lifestyle choices that stick as close to nature as possible.
But there are other “hacks” that promote healthier aging that can give you an extra boost.
You’ve probably never heard of the one I want to tell you about today… but it’s now been shown to REVERSE the hallmarks of old age.
In a small, randomized, double-blind trial, researchers evaluated the anti-aging effects of a supplement called glyNAC. It combines the amino acid glycine and NAC (N-acetylcysteine).
After 16 weeks, taking glyNAC led to beneficial effects on some of the BIGGEST heavy-hitters associated with aging:
- oxidative stress,
- glutathione deficiency,
- mitochondrial dysfunction,
- mitophagy,
- inflammation,
- insulin resistance,
- endothelial dysfunction,
- genomic damage,
- cell fatigue, and
- cellular senescence.
I could talk to you for hours about why reversing each of these can help keep aging at bay, but I’ll highlight just two for now.
For starters, improving mitochondrial health is critical for generating the power your body needs to run at peak efficiency.
In addition, boosting your “master antioxidant,” glutathione, combats oxidative stress, which helps protect your body from DNA damage and the breakdown of cells.
Conquering the aging signs in the list above translated into REAL results—like stronger muscles, increased exercise capacity, faster walking speed, lower blood pressure, and smaller waist size.
All of these factors are tied to longer lifespans and a better quality of life.
The study authors refer to glycine + NAC + glutathione as the “power of 3.”
Glycine is an amino acid that your body uses to make protein. But glycine also produces glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that helps repair tissues, support immune function, and more. And then there’s NAC, another amino acid that helps your body make glutathione.
When you combine these substances into one potent supplement, you’re providing the “power of 3” to help combat some of the most damaging consequences of aging.
P.S. In the March issue of my newsletter, I’ll be taking a deeper dive into the critical importance of glycine in more detail, including its role in fighting everything from wrinkles to joint pain. Click here to get access.

Strange Colon Cancer Trigger Revealed
Among seniors, colon cancer rates have been decreasing. But in folks under 50, rates are increasing at an alarming rate. One likely reason for the decrease in the older population is screening procedures like colonoscopy and stool sample tests like Cologuard, which can catch pre-cancerous polyps before they cause a problem. But, regardless of your […]
