The Habit That’s Killing Type 2 Diabetics
If you’re living with type 2 diabetes, you have an increased risk of health problems ranging from heart attack and stroke to kidney failure and neuropathy.

People with type 2 diabetes live about six years less than average.
That’s bad enough. But there’s ONE habit that could send your risk of death soaring by a stunning 73 percent.

I get it. When you don’t feel well, being active is usually the last thing on your mind.
But if you have type 2 diabetes, giving in and doing NOTHING is actually one of the worst things you can do.
A recent study revealed that adults with type 2 diabetes who sit for more than eight hours daily have a 73 percent higher risk of dying from any cause.
Even those who were active from 10 to 149 minutes per week had about the same risk.
However, the increased risk of death from a sedentary lifestyle was ELIMINATED in those who engaged in physical activity for at least 150 minutes per week.
This is the amount of activity recommended by the American Heart Association.
When it comes to type 2 diabetes, it’s easy to focus on factors like diet, weight, and smoking.
All of these are important… but being physically active is just as critical—especially when it comes to your longevity.
What could YOU do with a few extra years of life?
It could be the difference between meeting a grandchild, seeing a child get married, or taking that bucket list trip to Greece.
