Has Your Sex Life "Gone Cold" This Winter?
Time for some real talk:
How’s your sex life going?
You don’t have to answer that out loud, of course. But I bet you’ve ALREADY answered it in your head.
And if the response was anything less than “GREAT!” I’m here to help.
You see, your libido can be affected by the seasons. So, if you’ve noticed things cooling down in the bedroom this winter, it’s not unusual.
There’s a reason your desire has taken a nose dive. And lucky for you, there’s a simple fix to help get your love life back on track.
Many factors go into a good sex life. They include hormones, stress levels, and the current status of the emotional relationship between you and your significant other.
But there’s ANOTHER reason for a wintertime dip in your sex drive that no one is talking about:
Low vitamin D levels.
Because in addition to this vital vitamin’s already long list of functions and benefits, adequate vitamin D levels are ALSO critical for a healthy sex drive.
So when vitamin D levels dip in the wintertime due to lack of sunlight, your sex life could take a dip right along with them.
Studies back up this connection…
In one study, healthy vitamin D levels were associated with higher scores in sexual desire, orgasm, and satisfaction in women.
In another, men had similar results. The guys with healthy vitamin D levels had measurably better scores in erectile function, orgasmic function, and desire than D-deficient men.
Fortunately, if getting adequate sunlight in the winter isn’t an option, supplements can raise your vitamin D levels too. And that can take the temperatures in the bedroom from freezing back to sizzling once again.
In a study, researchers reported D supplements improved testosterone levels in men. And in women, a daily dose of D led to healthier levels of estrogen and progesterone.
When it comes to fixes for a dip in sex drive, it doesn’t get any easier than that.
P.S. Still need a bit more help in the bedroom? There’s a proven way to get you – and your partner– back in the mood. And it’s all thanks to an ugly root. Click here for the details.
