[Alert] Don’t Fall for THIS Mainstream Chemo LIE!
No one wants to undergo chemotherapy.
But for most patients, the threat of side effects like nausea, hair loss, fatigue, and mouth sores is a small price to pay for the hope of becoming cancer-free.
But what if there was a way to get the benefits of chemo without those terrible side effects?
Well, there is.
The only problem?
Big Pharma is doesn’t want you to know about it.
Doctors often give cancer patients a round of chemotherapy to help shrink a tumor before it is surgically removed.
This type of treatment, called neoadjuvant chemotherapy, is necessary when the tumor has grown into nearby blood vessels and organs, making surgery difficult, if not impossible.
What’s NOT necessary?
The crazy amount of chemotherapy forced into an already sick patient.
These patients receive such high doses of the drug that many have to stop the treatment early because the side effects are so bad.
You might think this would lead to poorer surgical outcomes.
But it doesn’t.
Some doctors noticed that patients who did NOT finish their chemo regimens had similar outcomes as those who did—and sometimes even better outcomes.
Based on this observation, researchers studied 48 cancer patients given either CapeOx or FOLFOX (two common chemo regimens).
Most of the patients were not able to take the full dose of the chemo because of side effects (that tells you how horrible it is).
Yet, in those who did not take the full dose, 45% experienced a complete response. This means that their cancer was undetectable.
In those who did take the full dose, 33% experienced a complete response.
That’s right—the patients who either quit their chemo or took lower doses had better outcomes.
A dosing study would have revealed the most effective doses of the drug—but the drug companies often don’t bother with those.
More must be better, right?
It’s better for their bottom line, but it’s clearly not better for the patient.
The study author asked the question, “Why would patients take more chemotherapy and have more side effects when less chemotherapy seems equally or even more beneficial?”
If you’re ever in this situation, ask your doc to start with the lowest dose possible.
