Are Your SHOES Keeping You Sick? (You Won’t Believe This…)
It seems like everything today is trying to kill us, doesn’t it?
Everything from the polluted air we breathe to the toxic, processed food we eat.
But if your energy levels are tanking… you’re suffering with constant pain… or you’re worried about chronic disease, there may be an unlikely culprit wrecking your health.
Believe it or not, it’s your shoes… but probably not how you’d think.
Confused? Don’t be.
I’ll explain everything… including how you can start reclaiming your health in just 60 seconds flat.
When I say your shoes are wrecking your health, I’m not talking about getting some new orthopedics or better arch support.
I’m talking about how our shoes are actually preventing us from enjoying one of the most powerful natural healing miracles around.
You see, our bodies were made to have a direct connection with the Earth.
The ground is an excellent source of free, subatomic particles known as electrons. We are designed to collect those electrons from the ground through the sweat glands in our feet.
Being barefoot on the ground and collecting those electrons… through something known as “grounding”… can be one of the most transformative changes you make for your health.
Those electrons we collect from the ground are essential to energy production and the health of our mitochondria – the energy centers of our cells.
They support something in your mitochondria known as the electron transport chain, which is crucial for producing the compound ATP – which our bodies need for energy.
So regular grounding can actually help wipe away fatigue and give you a fresh new surge of energy.
But that’s not all…
These same electrons act like antioxidants in our bodies, tamping down the inflammation that can trigger chronic pain, depression, heart disease, and more.
I know, this all sounds a little theoretical. But let me show you what real studies have shown.
A study out of the University of Oregon published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that grounding helped reduce inflammation markers and pain after exercise.
2015 researcher out of the University of California at Irvine showed that just one hour of grounding improved blood circulation.
And a 2018 pilot study run out of a cardiology practice had a group of 10 patients with hypertension practice grounding for months – and all 10 of them reduced their blood pressure numbers.
Now, I’m not saying to get rid of your shoes completely. When I go into a restaurant, I’m wearing shoes – those signs exist for a reason.
But today’s shoes with their rubber and plastic soles block the transfer of electrons into your body.
So you should try grounding, with your bare feet connected to the Earth, every day. The electrons start flowing in as little as 60 second flat.
But you can do better than that…
Try to spend at least 40 minutes grounded to the earth in a safe place (no lightning or electrical wires) twice a day.
If you have mobility issues, put a comfortable chair outside and connect your bare feet to the ground. When you need to wear shoes, opt for leather soles, which still allow those electrons to flow.
