Can This Drink GIVE You Arthritis?!
I often focus on what TO do in order to get healthy or avoid disease.
Today I’m going to give you a tip for what NOT to do… especially if you’re suffering from (or want to avoid) rheumatoid arthritis.
A recent study shows that ONE THING could increase your risk of rheumatoid arthritis by 164%.
And it might even be in your house RIGHT NOW.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a pain. Literally.
It’s an autoimmune condition in which your body attacks your joints, leaving you with pain, inflammation, and stiffness so severe that it can end up leaving you crippled.
There’s no cure, and treatments are Band-Aid solutions at best.
Your best bet is to avoid getting it to begin with, and one key way to do that is simply this:
STOP DRINKING SODA.
That’s right… a recent study that looked at food questionnaires of over 185,000 people found an undeniable connection between soda-drinking and RA.
In fact, drinking just ONE soda per day increased the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis by 63% in women.
But for women over 55, the risk of drinking just ONE soda jumped a shocking 164%!
I don’t like those odds.
But my hunch is that it’s not the soda specifically that’s causing the problems… it’s the sugar in the soda.
Sugar is highly inflammatory and has already been shown to make the symptoms of arthritis much worse.
That means that while avoiding soda is a good start… avoiding sugar, in general, will help your case even more.
