This “Cold Medicine” Kills Cancer
Dear Reader,
Cold season is coming… and I hope you’re already loading up on zinc.
Research has shown that zinc can boost your immune system – and even shave days off of a cold.
But it turns out that zinc is good for a lot more than sniffles.
It turns out that this miracle mineral may hold the key to destroying a deadly type of cancer – and keeping it from spreading.
And the sooner you start stocking up on zinc, the better.
In a study just published in the FASESB Journal, reserachers found that zinc can slow the growth of esophageal cancer cells—while leaving healthy cells completely unharmed.
Compare that to barbaric mainstream treatments like chemotherapy, that kill both cancer cells and healthy cells alike.
Using chemotherapy is like using explosives to do a job that would be much more appropriate for a sniper.
And based on this study, it looks like zinc could have sniper-like precision against cancer cells.
Zinc has also been shown to support healthy cell division, which prevents healthy cells from turning cancerous while also inhibiting cancer growth.
Since esophageal cancer is the sixth leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide—with the 5-year-survival rate being less than 20 percent—it’s more critical than ever that we find ways to get ahead of it.
And zinc could be just the thing to give us that boost.
As always, I recommend getting your nutrients through food sources if possible.
Lucky for you, the best sources of zinc happen to be pretty tasty too, with lamb, grass-fed beef, and chickpeas topping the list.
Other good sources include spinach, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, and oysters.
To a brighter day,
Dr. Richard Gerhauser, M.D.
