[Confirmed] Seniors Given USELESS Alzheimer’s Meds
They were peddling snake oil…
For the low, low price of $30,000 a year.
A new class of Alzheimer’s drugs started hitting the American market about five years ago.
Sure, they were pricey – but they gave patients and their families something they hadn’t had before.
Hope.
The drugs promised they could sweep away amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s brains – and even improve symptoms.
Now, a major new review has exposed the ugly truth about these drugs.
They don’t work. They never worked.
And they are far more likely to harm Alzheimer’s patients than improve their memories.
If you’re caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s – or are worried about the disease itself – this is one story you don’t want to miss.
The story of these so-called “anti-amyloid” drugs — such as aducanumab, donanemab, and lecanemab — reads like a Greek tragedy.
It’s full of people who should have known better, but didn’t act.
First off, the clinical trials on these medications were brutal. They included disturbing cases of brain bleeds – and even deaths.
But the drug companies pressed on…
And do did the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which allowed these medications to come to market.
The anti-amyloid drugs have now made Big Pharma a fortune… but Alzheimer’s patients didn’t make out as well.
A new review from Cochrane pooled together the results of 17 studies on anti-amyloid drugs, involving more than 20,000 patients.
And there was zero evidence these medications work… at all.
The lead author from Cochrane stated bluntly that the drugs “make no meaningful difference to patients” and that there was now a “convincing body of evidence” that they were ineffective.
And it only got worse from there…
Because while Cochrane couldn’t find any evidence that anti-amyloid drugs work, they found PLENTY of evidence that they increase the risk of swelling and bleeding in your brain.
So all harm… no benefit. And some of these meds are selling for around $3,000 a month.
Listen, hope is a good thing. But when companies are making profit by selling false hope, that’s despicable.
The fact is, Big Pharma’s Alzheimer’s drugs simply don’t work.
Your best bet – by far – is to focus on prevention.
Keep your circadian rhythm healthy. Get sunlight exposure first thing every morning, and avoid artificial blue light from technology screens at night.
There is a very strong link between poor sleep, circadian dysfunction, and Alzheimer’s.
And focus on eating foods rich in DHA (like fish), and spend time grounding with your bare feet connected to the Earth every day.
These help support the mitochondria in your energy-hungry brain.
Really focus on supporting your brain health and controlling the risk factors you can control. Avoiding the disease is a much better strategy than relying on risky, pricey meds that don’t work at all.
