Diet Fix SLASHES Breast Cancer Risk
It seems like we're always one step behind breast cancer.
We tell most women to get regular mammograms – but all a mammogram does is discover the cancer AFTER you already have it.
Wouldn’t it be better to get a step ahead… and STOP the cancer from forming in the first place?
Well, it’s possible… and it just requires a simple fix to your diet.
Researchers recently studied dietary questionnaires completed by nearly 200,000 women over multiple years.
They compared what the women ate to their risk of breast cancer.
And it turns out that doubling the number of fruits and vegetables in your diet could keep you from ever getting breast cancer.
According to the study, women who ate 5.5 servings of fruits and veggies every day had an 11% lower risk of developing breast cancer than those who ate 2.5 servings or less.
The vegetables that seemed to have the best anti-cancer effects included broccoli, and veggies that are yellow or orange in color.
Even more encouraging, consuming more fruits and vegetables was especially effective at reducing the risk of more aggressive cancers. These are the ones that tend to resist all of mainstream's most potent anti-cancer drugs–in other words, the ones that tend to be the most fatal.
Specifically, this included ER-negative, HER2-enriched, and basal-like tumors. Women who develop these types of cancers have a much higher risk of dying.
And that means that your greatest chance of surviving these cancers is to not get them in the first place.
That starts with a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
If this research doesn't encourage you to eat your broccoli, I don't know what will.
To a brighter day,
