
Drug-Free Cure for Migraines?! (WOW)
A migraine is not JUST a headache.
If you’ve ever experienced one, you know that the debilitating pain can also be served with a side of nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound.
So it’s not surprising that people who regularly suffer from migraines are more likely to overuse pain meds—including addictive opioids.
Even then, they’re not guaranteed pain relief.
But a breakthrough study just identified a drug-free solution that finally brings relief for migraine sufferers.

I often talk about the benefits of varying frequencies—and colors—of light for total body health.
Today, I’m highlighting the color GREEN.
Previous studies have shown that exposure to green light has pain-relieving effects. Now, a clinical study puts those pain-relieving properties to the test in migraine sufferers.
Researchers recruited 29 migraine sufferers who were NOT experiencing relief with their current treatments.
The participants went through two phases. First, they spent 1-2 hours daily for 10 weeks in a room with a white LED light (this served as the control).
Then they spent 1-2 hours a day for 10 weeks in a room lit by a green light, with a wavelength of about 525 nanometers.
The difference was astounding.
In people who suffered from chronic migraines (defined as 15 or more days per month for at least 3 months), average days with a migraine dropped from 22.3 days per month down to 9.4 days.
And in people who “only” experienced migraines 14 or fewer days a month… migraines dropped from 8 days per month down to just 2.4.
Overall, green light exposure reduced the frequency of headaches by 60 percent.
These kinds of improvements are comparable to the results reported in clinical drug trials.
In addition, the intensity of the pain levels dropped from an 8 down to a 3.2 (based on a 10-point scale).
Migraines are one of those conditions that continue to baffle doctors and scientists, and it’s amazing that we’re in the 21 century and effective treatments are still so lacking.
But once again… healing light to the rescue!
Green light was as (or more) effective as Big Pharma’s treatments… with none of the awful side effects.
