Put an END to Migraine Pain Today
Migraine pain can be a difficult nut to crack.
For some, a migraine can come on for seemingly no reason. Worse yet, it can leave you in the dark, lying in misery for days on end.
See, the problem with migraines is that they can be caused by anything from hormonal changes to weather changes and even by what you eat and drink!
So, because of the variety of causes, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.
Fortunately, studies have identified key nutrients that can put an END to your migraine pain today.
Because, not only do they help reduce the duration of these “head-splitting” events… but they can also reduce their severity, and frequency.
All of the following supplements have been shown to reduce the severity, duration, or frequency of migraine episodes.
Although most of these studies were small, and more research is needed, these are the three nutrients that have shown promising results.
- Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)
In one small study, 23 people took high doses of riboflavin. After six months, the patients reported a 50 percent decrease in the number of headaches they experienced, and in their duration.
A second study found the same results.
The American Academy of Neurology recommends 400mg per day, split into two doses.
- Magnesium
Multiple studies have shown that magnesium can help with migraines.
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 81 people took 600mg of magnesium or a placebo for 3 months. The people taking magnesium experienced 42 percent fewer migraine episodes, while the placebo group experienced 16 percent fewer.
And a more recent review of studies found that magnesium was more effective than placebo at preventing migraines.
The American Academy of Neurology recommends taking 600mg of magnesium (but you should work your way up to that amount, as higher levels can cause diarrhea in some people).
- CoQ10
Coenzyme Q10 is typically touted for its benefits for heart health, but migraine sufferers can benefit from its antioxidant and energy-generating properties as well.
One study found that taking 100mg of CoQ10 three times a day reduced migraine frequency by 50 percent!
Not surprisingly, then, the American Academy of Neurology recommends taking 100mg of CoQ10 three times per day.
P.S. If you’ve ever had one, you know migraines are no joke. Luckily, theres a drug-free cure for migraines that you can read about, just by clicking here.
