Get Brain Cancer… Watching Movies?!
I’m old enough to remember when homes had just one landline phone…
And the definition of “high tech” was an electric typewriter.
But these days, technology is all around us.
Those devices we carry everywhere were supposed to make life easier… but that doesn’t mean they’re safe.
In fact, one common electronic device… you probably use it to watch movies, play games, and read the news… could be TRIPLING your risk of brain cancer.
And some very powerful corporate interests are hoping you never connect the dots.
I have been warning about the dangers of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) – the radiation produced by electronic devices – for years.
Even as the electronics and communications industries tried to dismiss the fears – and call doctors like me “quacks” – I kept going.
And this new study out of Mexico is exactly why.
Researchers studied the use of electronic devices and EMF exposure for nearly 1,000 kids under the age of 16.
They found that kids who spent the most time on tablet computers had about THREE TIMES the risk of brain and spinal cord cancer.
In fact, their risk increased 2.53 times without the Internet – and 3.53 times with it.
I’m not surprised at all. Tablets can give off more EMFs than even cell phones.
And the way we use tablets can be especially dangerous.
People spend hours on their tablets watching movies and playing addictive games. All the while, those tablets are giving off EMFs… and your body is absorbing them.
Now, this was a study on kids. And it’s horrifying to think their favorite devices could be significantly increasing their cancer risk.
But don’t assume that you’re out of the woods, just because you’re a bit older. Everything these devices do to kids, they’re doing to you, too.
EMFs are a real threat to your health, no matter how much the tablet, cell phone, and computer industries try to convince you otherwise.
You should be working to limit your EMF exposure as much as possible. Here are some easy ways to start:
- Carry your phone or tablet in an EMF-blocking pouch (they’re easy to find online) and keep them off or in airplane mode when you’re not using them.
- Unplug electronic devices when you’re not using them, especially at night.
- Use a hard-wired Internet connection instead of WiFi.
- Consider hiring a Building Biology Environmental Consultant to assess EMFs and other risks in your home. You can find one near you at https://buildingbiologyinstitute.org/
