“Herdsman” Secret DESTROYS Colon Cancer
Some cancers are difficult to detect… which leads to catching them later… which leads to a poor chance of you surviving.
Colon cancer isn’t one of them.
By getting routine colon screenings, you can find out if you’re at risk for the disease before it has a chance to develop into full-blown cancer.
Despite this fact, colon cancer is still the second leading cause of cancer deaths among men and women.
But in addition to getting routine screenings, eating more of a certain “herdsman” secret can DESTROY colon cancer before it starts.
Some historians say that yogurt was accidentally created by hungry herdsmen in ancient Mesopotamia.
And it’s a good thing this mishap came to be.
Because this tasty snack has the power to restore your gut health… heal your bones… and even boost your heart.
Now, we know it can DESTROY cancer, too.
Researchers collected data on nearly 90,000 people who had endoscopies between 1986 and 2012 to check for adenomas, which are precancerous growths in the colon.
The same people also filled out questionnaires about their diets every four years—which included how much yogurt they ate.
It turned out that men who ate yogurt at least twice a week had a 26% lower risk of having pre-cancerous adenomas of the colon.
And they were 19% less likely to develop noncancerous adenomas.
The reason for such striking benefits? It all has to do with the gut.
Yogurt contains two types of beneficial bacteria (Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus) that reduce cancer-causing compounds in your colon.
It’s also likely that the yogurt reduces acid in the gut while also reducing inflammation—both of which pave the way to more “good” bacteria in the gut.
The healthier your gut microbiome, the less your risk of cancer.
The bottom line is that eating more yogurt is an easy, tasty way to support your gut health—and reduce your risk of cancer.
