To put it in perspective, this means that these breathing exercises are as effective as common blood pressure drugs — and they’re even MORE effective than walking 30 minutes per day, 5 days per week! 

These 5-minute breathing exercises also led to a 45 percent improvement in endothelial function, and reduced inflammation and oxidative stress. 

All of these are risk factors for heart attacks.
