Melt Away Pain With This Powerful Light Trick
Now that I’m in my 70s, I’m not slowing down a bit.
Whether I’m hiking the Grand Canyon… or getting ready for my annual elk hunting trip… I plan to stay active for as long as I can.
I want the same for you, too.
But nothing can get in the way of an active lifestyle like chronic pain.
A balky back, sore knees, or arthritis can make even the things you used to love… like working in the garden or hitting the links with your buddies… feel like a chore.
That’s why I’m going to introduce you to one of the best drug-free pain relievers I’ve ever found.
I use it myself regularly… and it passed with flying colors when scientists tested it against some of the worst pain around.
So just imagine what it can do for your daily aches and pains.
If you’ve never had knee replacement surgery, well, count yourself lucky.
Many folks will tell you it’s the most painful surgery they’ve ever experienced.
And that makes sense – they’re sawing through your tissue and bone, and they usually want you moving the knee shortly after the operation.
So I was excited to see recent research confirming that one of my favorite treatments delivered major pain relief for patients who had their knees replaced.
An international research team looked at multiple studies on a type of light therapy known as photobiomodulation after knee replacement.
They found that patients treated with photobiomodulation experienced:
- Less knee pain and swelling
- More flexibility in the knee
- Better knee function
So what is photobiomodulation? It’s a simple, non-invasive therapy that applies infrared light to your skin, around the site of your injury.
It’s painless and doesn’t cut or burn tissue – but what this light does inside your body is truly remarkable.
This infrared light has been shown to:
- Boost cellular energy, giving cells the extra energy they need to repair themselves.
- Reduce inflammation by targeting inflammatory chemicals in tissues.
- Calm overactive nerve endings and reduce signals that cause pain.
Remember, photobiomodulation was found effective at reducing pain after knee replacement – some of the worst pain around. So you can imagine how well it works for everyday aches.
And I’m living proof of that. I regularly use photobiomodulation to soothe aches or help me heal faster from injuries.
You can search online for at-home photobiomodulation or infrared therapy devices, and you’ll have plenty of options – everything from portable pads to full-body devices.
They aren’t cheap… but neither are all the prescription drugs, braces, and other contraptions we buy to deal with pain.
At least with photobiomodulation, you’ll have the confidence of knowing that you’re getting to the root cause of your pain and helping your body heal from the inside out.
