Melt Away Pain With This Simple Sugar Fix
There are millions of seniors living with chronic pain right now – maybe even you or someone you love.
And let’s be honest – the way mainstream medicine handles pain is a disaster.
They throw a smorgasbord of pills at it, like aspirin, NSAIDS, and opioids – medications that have been linked to bleeding risk, heart attacks, liver failure, addiction, and even death.
And most people take these drugs because they are desperate and don’t believe they have a choice.
But that’s simply not true…
There’s a simple “sugar therapy” backed by decades of research for many different types of pain.
It just delivered relief (again) against some of the worst pain around – and it’s so effective, I’ve used it myself for years.
Most patients experiencing pain are never offered prolotherapy – and that’s a big mistake.
I’ve used prolotherapy with countless patients over the years, and I’ve seen it deliver results time and time again.
Prolotherapy is a treatment where a doctor injects a solution (often sugar water) into an injured area to trigger the body’s natural healing response. The goal is to strengthen and repair damaged ligaments, tendons, or joints by encouraging new tissue growth.
Like I said, it’s backed by decades of science… and it just came through with flying colors again.
In a study recently published in the Journal of Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Indian researchers tried prolotherapy on a group of patients with plantar fasciitis.
If you’ve ever had plantar fasciitis, you know it’s pure misery.
Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition where the thick band of tissue on the bottom of your foot becomes irritated or inflamed. And it can make even taking a few small steps pure torture.
Well, for the new study, researchers had all of the patients do the stretching exercises usually prescribed for plantar fasciitis, but gave half of them two prolotherapy injections as well.
After 16 weeks, the winner was clear. The patients who got prolotherapy had significantly less pain and better foot function.
In fact, the prolotherapy group experienced about a 34% decrease in disability on a common index used to measure foot function.
Even better? No serious side effects reported.
How many prescription pain meds can you say that about?
Again, most patients are never offered prolotherapy and most doctors don’t offer it. So if you want to try it for yourself, you have to do a little digging.
