The Cancer Trigger You’re NEVER Warned About
Let me tell you something you probably already know…
Mainstream medicine’s approach to stopping cancer works about as well a screen door on a submarine.
They are spending BILLIONS of dollars promoting early detection screenings – which make them a fortune.
But all those screenings do is detect cancer after you already have it.
How about avoiding cancer in the first place?
Well, new research is showing a simple way to help keep your body cancer-free.
And if you’ve been reading my eletter for a while, you may already be following this advice.
The new research was published in a journal called Sleep and Cancer — which should tell you everything you need to know.
Italian researchers dove into all of the ways that disruptions to our circadian rhythms – our bodies’ natural sleep/wake cycles – can set us up for cancer.
And it’s a pretty terrifying list. Circadian disruptions can interfere with:
- Cell division
- DNA repair
- And apoptosis, the process by which cancer cells commit “suicide.”
That all can put you on the fast path to cancer. And this research wasn’t the first to prove it.
Numerous studies over the years have linked shift work – such as working at night – to a higher risk of cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer even classifies circadian disruptions as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”
Keeping your circadian rhythm healthy is one of the easiest ways to help protect yourself from cancer. Here are three simple steps to get started:
- Get sun exposure in your eyes first thing every morning. No glasses or contact lenses. You don’t need to look directly into the sun – just keep it in your peripheral vision. This helps set your circadian rhythm for the day.
- Keep a regular bed time at night, even on the weekends.
- Avoid exposure to artificial blue light from cell phones, TVs, laptops, and tablets at least 60-90 minutes before bed. Your body mistakes this artificial light for sunlight, which suppresses the melatonin you need to help you sleep.
Try these three steps consistently, and I can practically guarantee you’ll sleep better. And you’ll be giving your body powerful protection against cancer, too.
