Red Hot Spice STOPS Lung Cancer (AMAZING!)
People used to think that only smokers got lung cancer.
That’s just not true.
Lung cancer actually kills more men and women than any other type of cancer—with the number predicted to be nearly 150,000 this year alone.
But there’s good news.
Researchers have identified a way to STOP lung cancer from spreading to other parts of your body.
And it’s all thanks to a certain red hot spice.
When a tumor develops in the lungs, it often isn’t fatal.
The problem happens when it spreads to other parts of the body (like your brain, liver, or bones). That’s when it becomes very difficult to treat.
But recent research has uncovered a compound that can HALT lung cancer from spreading to other parts of the body.
It’s called capsaicin, and it’s the chemical in chili peppers that makes them spicy.
The researchers conducted numerous experiments in rodents and cultured human cell lines—and they all showed the benefits of capsaicin.
In human lung cancer cells, capsaicin was able to STOP the first step in metastasis.
When rodents with lung cancer were fed capsaicin in their diets, they had fewer metastatic lung cancer cells in their lungs.
A separate cell study gave insight into how it produced these anti-spreading effects.
It turns out that capsaicin blocks the activation of the Src protein, which plays a major role in regulating the growth, survival, and spread of these cells.
Inhibiting Src activation directly stops lung cancer cells from spreading — and that’s exactly why capsaicin works.
And this isn’t the first study to show capsaicin’s anti-cancer actions.
Others have shown that it can prevent the development of triple-negative breast cancer and could also reduce the risk of colon cancer.
The problem with capsaicin is that in large amounts it can cause unpleasant side effects, like stomach cramps.
While scientists work on a way to extract capsaicin’s benefits without its side effects, I’d just focus on adding chili peppers, cayenne pepper, and paprika into your diet.
It’ll spice up your dinner — and add another level of protection for your overall health.
