REDUCE Your Alzheimer’s Risk by 33% (Here’s how!)
The more you exercise, the lower your risk
With more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease, chances are pretty good that you or someone you love will be impacted by it sooner or later.
And that’s a scary thought, especially since there is no cure.
That’s why I write so much about this dreaded condition… because the best thing you can do is to take steps NOW to help make sure you never get this disease in the first place.
And today, I’m going to tell you about an important lifestyle factor that can lower your risk by as much as 33 percent.
For this latest study, researchers tracked nearly 650,000 seniors for about 10 years. They were divided into five categories based on their fitness level.
Overall, the better the fitness, the lower the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
Let’s take a closer look at the numbers. Compared to the least-fit group:
- The next level up had a 13 percent reduced risk.
- The middle group had a 20 percent reduced risk.
- The second to the highest group had a 26 percent reduced risk.
And here’s the best part…
Those who exercised the most had a 33 percent reduced risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
Fitness isn’t exercise for my family and me… it’s a lifestyle.
It makes me happy knowing that something that adds so much joy to our lives in the present is also adding quality to our lives for the future.
There are no guarantees when it comes to Alzheimer’s disease.
But every little bit helps.
