Supplement Combo RESTORES Memory
If you’re already facing cognitive decline, you’re probably on the lookout for ways to slow it down.
These include lifestyle changes—like exercising, reducing stress, getting plenty of sleep, and managing blood pressure.
I don’t want to discount these actions. By all means, keep doing them.
However, I think we can do even better.
Today, I’ll reveal a way to RESTORE memory function in those already noticing cognitive decline.
In a recent study, researchers looked into the effects of two supplements on people aged 55 to 79 with memory complaints:
- Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3s are a type of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid or LC-PUFA)
- Lutein plus zeaxanthin
The volunteers took both supplements together or a placebo. They also had their cognition tested before and after the trial with brain performance tests that evaluated verbal and visual memory.
Remarkably, those taking the combination of supplements saw improvements in their memory function.
Those who had the most significant improvements were the ones with confirmed cognitive decline.
However, keep in mind that determining the difference between general memory loss and actual cognitive decline can be tricky.
But even if you don’t know which category you fit into, your brain will benefit from feeding it the nutrients it needs to function well.
To do that, eat plenty of omega-3s found in foods like salmon, tuna, oysters, eggs, and walnuts.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids found in foods like dark leafy greens and yellow and orange vegetables.
P.S. Move it or lose it—the surprising truth about brain health.
