Want to Live Longer? IGNORE This Advice
There are certain things the government just shouldn’t meddle in.
And your health is right up there at the top of the list.
The list of bad health advice from the government is long and embarrassing.
And if you’ve been following Uncle Sam’s advice on what kind of milk to drink (and what to avoid), then you’ll definitely want to read this.
Because IGNORING the government’s advice can reduce your risk of serious heart disease…and an early death.
The 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, put out by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, recommend consuming fat-free and low-fat dairy.
Well, you can dump those dietary recommendations down the drain—right along with your fat-free and low-fat milk.
Recent studies have consistently shown that consuming full-fat dairy does NOT increase your risk of cardiovascular disease.
And a brand-new study proves that consuming whole-fat dairy can actually lower your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and stroke.
The findings were so strong that the study’s author suggested that the current national dietary guidelines need to be revised.
I couldn’t agree more.
We already know that dairy is a rich source of potassium and calcium, which can help build strong bones in young people—and help maintain strong bones as you get older.
And healthy fats are the key to managing your weight, and protecting your heart and brain.
I’ve been drinking full-fat dairy for years – and I recommend it to all of my patients.
You can finally dump that awful-tasting skim milk down the drain. It’s not doing anything for your health… except making it worse.
To a brighter day,
Dr. Richard Gerhauser, M.D.
