WARNING: These Foods POISONING Your Brain?
It’s official: Americans’ brains are under attack.
I’m talking about major chemical warfare here… but not the kind you’re thinking of.
The enemy isn’t some extremist group—it’s food manufacturers.
And the weapon isn’t a dangerous chemical—it’s the food you voluntarily purchase (and willingly put into your body).
And now recent research has identified the biggest dietary threat to your brain health.
The huge study tracked nearly 11,000 people for eight years. Researchers wanted to find out what impact processed foods have on brain health.
The results showed that eating a lot of ultra-processed foods—like soda, breakfast cereal, and frozen foods—was associated with a decline in cognitive function.
Memory and executive function were hit the hardest.
The researchers defined “high consumption” as more than 20 percent of someone’s daily caloric intake. So, for an active man like myself, that would equate to 500 calories based on a 2,500-calorie diet.
This information isn’t exactly new, but it does help solidify what we already know: junk food DESTROYS your brain.
Major health organizations already recommend eating a diet that focuses on whole foods and reducing or eliminating processed foods from your menu. But really, it’s just common sense.
I don’t need some government-run organization to tell me that foods pumped full of sodium, preservatives, and impossible-to-pronounce chemicals are bad for my health.
Stick to foods that don’t need ingredient labels instead. And you’ll never have to worry about their negative health effects.
P.S. Want even MORE brain protection? Don’t just change your diet. Make sure you also include plenty of THESE two potent nutrients proven to enhance cognitive health and reduce the risk of dementia.
