Weight Loss Secret: “Timing Trick” Helps You Feel Full
In life, timing is everything.
I’ve found that to be true of my personal life—and it’s definitely been true of my health journey as well.
Your body follows a daily schedule called your circadian rhythm that keeps in time with the sun.
The closer you follow this rhythm, the healthier you’ll be.
One big way you can start to incorporate this concept into your daily life is by focusing on WHEN you eat.
In fact, adopting a simple but effective “timing trick” could help you feel FULLER, eat LESS, and burn more CALORIES.
In a recent study, 16 overweight people ate the same meals but on two different schedules. One group ate during a window of about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the other ate later in the day, from about 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Eating later in the day DOUBLED the likelihood of being hungry. Blood levels confirmed this, as the individuals had lower levels of leptin, the hormone that helps you feel full.
Eating later also resulted in fewer calories burned, and testing showed that it promoted fat growth.
Other research confirms how effective this time-restricted eating (also called intermittent fasting) can be.
For example, another recent study found that eating more of your calories earlier in the day can also help reduce feelings of hunger.
And a third showed that eating within a 10-hour window helped improve blood sugar and blood lipid levels.
When you follow your circadian rhythm by eating earlier in the day and in a shorter window, you work WITH your body instead of AGAINST it.
When you do that, staying healthy doesn’t take so much effort. Your body just works better naturally.
P.S. The older we get, the harder it can be to lose weight. A sluggish metabolism is likely to blame. Jumpstart your weight loss with one of these TOP 4 metabolism-boosting supplements starting today.
