This Works BETTER Than a Flu Shot (And It’s FREE)
Winter is right around the corner, and you know what that means.
Another flu season – and another round of pressure to get the flu shot.
I just have three words to say about that:
DON’T DO IT.
Yes, the flu can be extremely dangerous – especially for older folks.
But there are other (BETTER) ways to make sure you never have to worry about getting the flu.
And the best one of all is absolutely free… and comes with ZERO side effects.
The flu is no walk in the park.
But getting the flu shot only takes things from bad to worse.
For starters, no one knows what strain of the flu will emerge from season to season. And that means deciding which strain to vaccinate is one big guessing game.
I guess that explains why the highly respected Cochrane Review found that you need to vaccinate 71 people to prevent ONE case of flu!
Plus, in the process of getting a shot that may be completely ineffective, you’re exposing yourself to toxic levels of aluminum, formaldehyde, and mercury (which can cause memory loss, depression, digestive problems, cardiovascular complications, and more).
I could write an entire article on reasons why you’d want to skip the shot, but for now, let’s focus on what you should do instead.
The single best thing you can do to avoid getting the flu this winter is to make sure your immune system is up to the task.
And the best way to do that? Spend more time in the outside in the sun!
A recent paper published by the National Bureau of Economic Research found that higher levels of sunlight were linked to a lower incidence of influenza.
There’s a good reason for this.
First, getting midday sunlight is the best source of vitamin D, which is key for a strong immune system. And study after study has shown that having ample blood levels of vitamin D reduces the risk of getting the flu.
Second, getting morning light will help set your circadian rhythm (your body’s internal clock) for the day, which makes sure your immune system is functioning properly.
Properly set circadian clocks also allow us to get restful sleep — another critical factor for optimal immune system repair.
Start getting daily sunlight today… and your body will be more than ready when flu season rolls around.
To a brighter day,
