Cut Cold and Flu Symptoms In HALF!
Brace yourself.
Experts predict a bad cold and flu season this winter.
Now, that doesn’t mean you must run out and get a flu shot. But it DOES mean you should prep NOW in case you do catch something.
Tissues, a hot water bottle, and a box of your favorite tea are an excellent place to start. But don’t stop there.
Natural remedies that can ease your symptoms should be on the list, too. And one solution, in particular, has been shown to slice the duration of colds and flu in HALF.
Nothing knocks you off your feet quite like a bad cold or the flu.
The body aches, fever, sore throat, congestion, headache, and fatigue leave you miserable. And they can keep you bundled up and in bed for a week (or more).
Obviously, the QUICKER you can recover, the better. And that’s where elderberry comes in.
Elderberries are tiny berries with BIG immune-boosting properties.
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 312 airline passengers took elderberry extract or a placebo for 10 days before travel and five days after.
The participants who DID catch a cold but were taking elderberry were sick for about HALF the amount of time of those on the placebo.
Even better, the elderberry ALSO slashed the severity of their symptoms.
In another double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 60 volunteers with the flu (influenza A or B) were given an elderberry or placebo syrup four times a day for five days.
Flu symptoms in the elderberry folks were relieved an average of four days earlier than those taking the placebo. Plus, their symptoms were milder.
I hope you stay well ALL winter long.
But if you pick up a cold or the flu, elderberry could give your immune system the boost it needs to get you back on your feet faster.
P.S. Elderberry is fantastic for when you catch a cold or the flu. But you can also take steps to reduce your risk of getting sick in the first place. Check out my TOP FOUR natural cold and flu fighters.
